We are not a management company operating out of another state. We live near these buildings. When your heat goes out at 9pm in January, you are calling someone who can actually be there.

Yes. Every adult who will be living at the property must consent to a background check before we approve an application. We apply the same standard to everyone, which means your neighbors were screened the same way you were.
Usually yes. The amount depends on the unit, so ask us about the specific apartment you are interested in. If the standard deposit is a hardship for you, call us anyway. We can sometimes work out a payment arrangement rather than lose a good tenant over timing.
